8 maja minęła 110. rocznica urodzin legendarnego muzyka. To była dobra okazja, by przyjrzeć się jego twórczości i sprawdzić, ile jest prawdy w opinii, że był prekursorem, pionierem, królem bluesa i jak wpływową postacią jest w historii muzyki popularnej. Robert Johnson wchodził do studia w listopadzie 1936 roku i w czerwcu 1937 roku. Blues był wówczas popularnym gatunkiem muzycznym, działało wielu znakomitych artystów, których wpływy można jednoznacznie wskazać w kompozycjach Johnsona. Jego współcześni nie cenili jego utworów tak bardzo, jak cenimy je dziś. W audycji usłyszymy muzykę Johnsona, którą łączę bezpośrednio z inspiracjami, czyli muzyką jego poprzedników i jemu współczesnych. Ale nie tylko. Pokazuję, dlaczego nie był gwiazdą w swoim czasach, a także skrótowo opowiadam, jak to się stało, że stał się legendą.
